Businessman and pastor Richard Jason Veitch has been a prominent figure in the Newnan, Georgia, landscape for decades, with ventures in real estate, sheep farming, and construction, in addition to his evangelistic duties. His entrepreneurial journey began in 2004 when Richard Jason Veitch founded J. Veitch Construction, Inc., at 24. During the economic downturn and residential crisis of 2008-2014, he decided to venture into building and remodeling thoughtfully designed, spacious yet affordable custom homes.
Mr. Veitch also offers and manages affordable rental housing. As a landlord, he oversees all business operations, including marketing, tenant relations, legal compliance, property, finance, and risk management. Other ventures include a sheep-rearing farm called Pleasant View Sheep Farm in Newnan, where he raises grass-fed Katahdin hair Sheep for breeding stock, pets, and meat. As the farm’s owner and primary shepherd, he is responsible for feeding and nutrition, vaccination and deworming, breeding management, pastureland management, branding, marketing, and sales.
Despite his busy schedule in real estate, sheep rearing, and construction, Mr. Veitch serves as the minister of Cross Point Church. In his free time, he enjoys fishing for largemouth and spotted bass.
